” i don’t know how i would have made it through my labour without the use of the birthing TENS. In the early stages, i simply applied the tens and was able to cope with the pains such as backache and still be able to move about at home and in hospital. When the contractions started i increased the pulsing sensation on my back and used the boost button with each contraction. i had a lovely baby girl with no other pain relief and felt great afterwards. i did have some afterpains so simply moved the gel pads to my stomach to take the pains away, which it did….quite amazingly….all women should have there tens ready as part of their preparation for labor….it really did work…
” My labour & delivery turned out quite differently from what I had hoped, which was for a completely natural childbirth. As it turned out I had to be induced and was told by my midwife that the probabilities of needing an epidural were extremely high. I was devastated but put on my Obstetric TENS and decided to do the best I could. In the end I delivered a 9lb 10oz baby boy, without an epidural and attribute my ability to do that to great support & coaching from my husband, midwife & the use of the TENS with booster button, which really helped to manage the pain. I continue to recommend the Obstetric TENS to every pregnant woman I know.”
